Promo for snowboarding in 2018 Winter Olympics features strange magic stunt; video

The 2018 Winter Olympics are quickly approaching. And promos have begun to push snowboarding in PyeongChang, South Korea. And this new one has us just as confused as the experts at TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING.

Featuring past “America's Got Talent” contestant Yu Ho-Jin performing what we’re guessing is supposed to be a magic trick, it’s a bit mind-boggling. Riding a floating snowboard alongside a bus in PyeongChang, Ho-Jin is decked out in full snow gear.

As TRANSWORLD SNOWBOARDING points out, “If this is a preview of the course in PyeongChang, it could be the most progressive urban riding for a snowboarding slopestyle event ever.”

That could very well be true. But all joking aside, they also note how “we study, watch and talk about snowboarding all day long and not one person in the office could come up with an answer.”

Anyone got any suggestions as to what’s going on here? We guess we’ll just have to wait for more head-scratching promos to come out until the 2018 Winter Olympics hit.
